Garlic, Shallots and Bulbs

As sad as it is to see summer fade and plants wither, fall can also hold a lot of possibilities. In fact, this is the perfect time to plant garlic and shallot bulbs for next summer. 

Last year, Sarah provided a link to a post from the Vegetable Gardener site that talked All About Garlic. This article is terrific, with tons of information on growing, harvesting and cooking with garlic. It's so good, we're resurrecting it. 

Shallots can be grown in the same way.

So if you decide to plant garlic and/or shallots, you will definitely be rewarded with plenty come spring!
